Announcing South Asia Consultant Siddharth Akali

Accountability Counsel is pleased to announce that Siddharth Akali will be joining our team as a consultant, collaborating with us on our work in South Asia. Siddharth is a licensed lawyer in British Columbia, Canada. Prior to his role with Accountability Counsel, he represented Indigenous governments in disputes with large energy companies and different levels of Canadian government. Siddharth also has experience as a migrant justice organizer. He has done community outreach, direct action and policy advocacy work through Sanctuary Health, a grass-roots community-group based in Vancouver, unceded Coast Salish Territories.
