We accept applications on a rolling basis for full-time, year-long, post-graduate fellows to work with our San Francisco-, Washington, D.C.-, and Asia-based teams. When submitting your application, please indicate your proposed timeframe and the outside funding source you hope to obtain for this fellowship. If you are selected for a post-graduate fellowship, you may be asked to produce a fellowship proposal.

Applicants are requested to have relevant work experience and/or academic background in at least some of the areas in which we work: International Law, Development, Economics, Public Policy, Environmental Justice, and Human Rights. Applicants are required to have excellent communication, research, writing, and critical thinking skills.

Applicants who are invited to submit a proposal should outline their proposed areas of work and how that contribution will meet Accountability Counsel’s organizational needs and serve in furthering our mission. We encourage you to review our website for more information about each of our program areas (CommunitiesPolicy AdvocacyResearch) before applying.

Post-Graduate Policy Fellows will support Accountability Counsel in promoting corporate and institutional accountability and the protection of human and environmental rights. In this context, Fellows will help advance our policy work toward the improvement of accountability mechanisms and their creation where they do not currently exist. Responsibilities for this dynamic fellowship include: conducting research and policy analysis; producing memos; reporting on international and domestic legal/policy developments; supporting our coalition-building efforts; and assisting with the development and implementation of advocacy strategies and campaigns. Policy Fellows will participate in meetings with stakeholders in government, business, international institutions, and partner organizations, as appropriate. Applicants are required to have completed their law or graduate degree prior to the start of their fellowship.
