Data Interns will work within our Research program to contribute to ongoing data projects. They will support our Research team by collecting, organizing, and analyzing data on complaints, and building analytical tools to more effectively use available data.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong analytical thinking skills and an interest in learning new research and data analysis methodologies. Students from any discipline are welcome to apply; familiarity with statistical modeling, database management, and coding languages such as Python or R is welcome but not required.

Positions are unpaid, but we will be happy to work with your institution to arrange academic credit. We accept applications from undergraduate students and recent graduates (within one year of graduation). Women, people of color, persons with disabilities, and international students are strongly encouraged to apply.

After posting, we accept applications year-round and on a rolling basis. Below is our typical application cycle calendar for undergraduate internships. If you are working on an alternative academic calendar, please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss an alternative timeline.
