Emmanuel Paul Sterling is a passionate advocate for justice and equity, bringing extensive experience in talent acquisition, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) to teams. With a career spanning leadership roles at mission-driven organizations, Emmanuel has successfully championed strategies that center marginalized communities in hiring, organizational policies, and workplace culture.

In addition to his professional expertise, Emmanuel is committed to uplifting underserved communities through volunteer work at his church’s food pantry. He has conducted training and workshops to move organizations forward around humanizing the people they serve and centering the people doing the work. He is excited to leverage his deep understanding of people-centered strategies and systemic change to support Accountability Counsel’s mission of amplifying the voices of communities around the world to defend their environmental and human rights.

Emmanuel is a proud NYC Marathon finisher. He is energized by opportunities to connect purpose with action and create meaningful impact.
