2012 MICI Evaluation

In December 2012, the Inter-American Development Bank’s (IDB) Office of Evaluation and Oversight (OVE) released an evaluation of the Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism. The evaluation recommended doing away with the IDB’s current accountability mechanism.

Accountability Counsel remains actively involved in monitoring the IDB’s current mechanism, the Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI), and looks forward to the IDB holding public and transparent consultations on a new mechanism to replace MICI.
