Innanoshe Akuson

Summer Policy Fellow at Accountability Counsel. He is currently pursuing his J.D. at The George Washington University Law School. Prior to law school, Innanoshe qualified as a lawyer in Nigeria and founded A Nasty Boy Magazine, West Africa’s seminal LGBTQ+ counter-storytelling platform that challenged the dominant sociocultural narratives dictating where, how, and when queer Nigerians can exist.

He brings to his work a deep commitment to amplifying the voices of communities harmed by institutional power—particularly across the Global South—and is passionate about building just, participatory systems of redress through legal and policy reform.
