Hiran Dewar

Research Intern

Hiran Dewar (she/her) is a fourth year undergraduate student at Stanford University studying Computer Science and Human Rights on the pre-Medical track. Hiran is deeply passionate about human rights issues, particularly related to post conflict accountability and reproductive justice. She is a co-President of Stanford’s Planned Parenthood Generation Action, counselor for Stanford’s Sexual Health Peer Resource Center, and teaching assistant for Peer Education on Comprehensive Sexual Health. Hiran conducts research with the de la Zerda laboratory at Stanford School of Medicine and with Stanford’s Center in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Imaging. Outside of work, Hiran enjoys hiking, travelling, and reading.
